Minneapolis: Native American word for "Shit! It's Cold!"

so the past few days have been interesting for the denizens of the Mini Apple. throughout the entire Midwest, apparently the temperature dropped pretty radically, leaving us here in the northern states well below zero. Thursday, Bryce couldn't get his car started which made me half an hour late to work, and then today i was stranded at Bryce's apartment all day because i couldn't get my car started. theoretically the truly smart thing to do would have been just to stay inside pretty much all day for the last couple of days, except that this coincides with our last few days of winter break and i don't want to sit at home! i want to get out and do exciting things!

what's the point, you ask? no point. have some assorted photos.


Bryce and i just started watching Mad Men. the 50s were such a decade for fashion...i wouldn't want to be any of these women for a million bucks, but Joan (center) is smokin'. and i didn't recognize her as Saffron from Firefly until i IMDB'd her.


most of the internet hasn't seen my new haircut. it's not that different from my old one, except it's platinum blonde and has bangs. i'm sort of growing it out - not to a long long length, but longer than i've had it in a while.
